Hello, for sale is a starter motor off of a 2003 Lancer Evolution 8. This starter is in working condition and was working upon removal. The reason it was removed and replaced is because the car was having starting issues, it was narrowed down to the ignition switch. Being that I already did all the work, plus had the added security of a brand new starter, I left it. Now I have this used starter sitting around.

I am looking for $50+ shipping


It is a factory OEM piece, the Mitsubishi info on it is as follows:

Sorry to have bother you but how did you figure it was the ignition switch? I just replaced my starter and it still having problem starting up. Any advice would greatly help.. thanks!

 

I figured out it was the ignition switch because the car 50% of the time started turn key, other times it took many turns to engage and draw power. I put up a "Help" thread on here and was told it may be the ignition switch, and that is when I swapped it out and found out.
