I have an Evo 8 turbo off of a 03-04 EVO 8.
the Hotside that is attached is a 10.5 dual flapper Hotside from a 05 Evo 8. There is 0-minimal shaft play. Everything pictured is what will come with the turbo and Hotside.

This is not a single flapper Hotside which came with the Evo 8 MR and Evo 9's, It's the Hotside that came off the base 05 Evo 8.

Is the hotside the 10.5 with dual wastegate flappers or single?

 

It's a hot side from a 05 evo 8. So it's s dual flap.

 

10.5 housings have single flaps.

 

The 05 evo 8 mr and evo 9s came with the single flap. The base 05 evo came with the double flap.

The turbo is from a 03-04 Evo...... the housing is from a 05 Evo.
