FS: (FL) (Evo 8) BR BF272 camshafts

SOLD! Never got a chance to use these cams, but there's more than enough testing and threads floating around that show how well these cams were engineered and developed to make power with cars using FP Red/GT30R turbos on up. BR upgraded valve springs will be needed to run these cams properly. All cam lobes are great minus some very very light surface rust in spots (as seen in the pics). The exhaust cam is scored on the journal closest to the cam gear side and should be polished out before install. Asking $500 o.b.o (price includes all shipping and Paypal fees) no trades please. Here's info on the cams from the BR website, thanks for looking:

SOLD! "The ultimate in EVO camshafts. This new custom grind from Buschur Racing has proven itself to make the most power of any camshaft we have tested to date in the EVO. We've had these cams custom ground and are glad we can offer them at a reasonable price to our customers.

SOLD! These camshafts are recommend for use with FP RED, GT30 series or larger and will require our spring and retainer kit to support them. (sold seperately)

SOLD! PLEASE NOTE: We really do not recommend to use these cams with the stock shortblock for your added safety. Its possible that the valves could hit the pistons. It all depends on your valve spring combination and RPM."

Made sure the score marks were cleaned/smoothed so they're ready to run (no edges to damage anything). Also, opening these up for a reasonable offer that includes shipping and Paypal fees, so let me know. Thanks for the space

Thumbs up

Bump for the meanest set of 272's you'll ever own. Here 's Mr. Buschur's comments on these cams after D-Sport magazine's Evo VIII cam shootout:

Did you receive the exhaust camshaft with scoring? Or was it because of something else?

I bought these used and found that they were scored. I notified the original seller of the scoring and he told me that it must have been from the engine damage of the car it came from in his shop; I believe he said that it threw a rod. I told him that I would let him know what a trusted Evo enthusiast thought of them and return them if they were deemed to far gone. Needless to say, this third person (a disinterested party) who is the local DSM/Evo guru here told/showed me that they'd be fine with a light sanding which was carefully done.

I was hoping to have an Evo VIII by now, but things being the way they are, it may be awhile longer. I'm taking offers, so just let me know.
