Built 2.4 4G64 shortblock + FP Black

As the title states, I'm looking to buy a built 4G64. My evo IX MR crankwalked with only 22k miles on the stock block. My entire 2.0 shortblock is destroyed. So while the engine is out I might as well build it.

I would prefer a long rod build, but any 2.4 will do. I am looking for a deal, as the the 4g64 is much cheaper than the 4g63.

I am looking to pick up an FP black kit with the proper oil lines. I can potentially trade a 22k mile IX turbo + cash for the kit, or just cash.

Also interested in injectors, clutch, and various other parts to match this build.

PM me if you have anything I may be interested in, Thanks!

Built your own 2.4L will be the cheapest way.
You can built a brand new one for under $3000-$3200. And thats no cheap product either. Why buy a used one, when u can built a new block that u know thats no problems with it.

4g64 block $250-400 (find them easily at the junk yard)
99-04galant, 00-05 eclipse block)
Machine work $550
Manley tt ibeam rods and manley platinum 9:1 piston $1250
Arp main studs $90
Acl bearing $110. All the bearings u will be needing.
Cometic head gasket $90
Gsc balance shaft delete kit $190
03 outlander water pump $75-$90 new
New oil pump and gasket $250

Thats about $2600. And labor for putting all that together between $250-400, depend which good mechanic you know that knows how to properly put the piston and rods in correctly.

Tips for you when you have someone put your block together. Make sure that he measure the bore and the piston before he puts it in. Some dont, and it will cause your oil to get into your chamber and you will be f&ck!!!!
Josh in orlando florida f$ck mine up like that. Learn my lesson so im letting u know.
And be sure to get the reciept of the spec and blue print of the machine work from your machine shop.
Not all machine shop are good!!!
Go to the one that everyone recommend and do some research on them before u give your block to them.

Well good luck bro!
And 2.4L , you cant redline over 7800rpm like your 2.0L.
Just so u know its not safe.
2.0 u can rev up to 9500 with a dual spring.

No problems.

You can go with h-beam rods to save $200, but will handle less hp!
