FS[MidWest]: Used: Exedy Twin Disc
Used: Exedy Twin Disc
This is a used Exedy twin disc. I’m located in MN, and will ship to anywhere in the US.
The condition:
Used – $500.00 - OBO (includes shipping)
• Not sure of full mileage, I purchased it used and replaced the discs. The replaced discs have some wear from about 5K miles of road use, only launched it one time!
• I purchased the clutch used, it was described as a HD, but I was looking at the pressure plate and I don’t know how to be 100% confidant that it is. It could be an SD. It held and never slipped with a 6266 turbo.
• The only time is slipped (I think the heat spots on the PP are from this) was when the clip pulled out of the pressure plate, I was not running a clutch stop.
• Measurements of the discs are shown below in the pictures.
• There are some heat marks on the pressure plate visible in the pictures, I checked it with a straight edge and on an inspection surface and it appears to be flat.
• I would have installed a new clip, a clutch stop and reused it, but I ended up going to an 8 leg QM due to my increased power and wanting to drag race the car now.
Only reason I pulled it out was due to pulling the clip out of it.
FYI Exedy and ACT sell replacement clips.
PM me to purchase or for questions.

Mark, the code engraved into the pressure plate will tell you, its like CMO6 or something of that nature, its been a few years since I looked for it. Anyways, bump for a good seller!

Replacement clips are available:

Disc service thickness:
I didn't get confirmation from an Exedy spec, I found it here in a thread here on evom, the thread indicated a service life of the discs are down to 3.0mm, new they are 4.0mm.
