Yes it will work with a 9 head. You will need a mivec line adaptor though.

+1 - I have a spare motor that was built by Curt. He didn't give me any paperwork for it either. But when I contemplated selling it and I contacted him, he told me to just send serious buyers his way and he would vouch for me.
