This is a fully built and unused Evo 8 rear differential built by TRE. Im asking 1500$ shipped

TRE's service offers of trouble-free use for those who drive the hell out of their EVO.
TRE can covert the factory differential into a durable unit that provides the ultimate in traction capabilities.
Our 2 step shot peening process increases strength while maintaining ideal MSF.
Backlash of spider gearset is corrected and proven to eliminate breakage.
Side sheaves & cross shaft are modified and polished for smooth operation.
Bearing preloads are dialed right on the money.
Contact pattern of the ring & pinion is set-up for high torque abuse.
Total Indicated Runout is less than half of manufacture spec.
HD side cover provides maximum structural integrity and strength.
HD pinion spacer maintains the bearing preload.
Holds up to an *** kicking and looks like brand new.
TRE maximizes the performance reliability for those who drag race, road race, autocross or just drive to work.

-magnaflux inspection of differential carrier housing and bearing caps
-magnaflux inspection of ring & pinion and spider gearset
-new pinion & carrier bearings
-new shim kit for preload of both pinion shaft and carrier housing
-adjustment of spider gearset backlash
-modified sheaves & cross shaft
-adjustment of ring & pinion for high torque applications
-new pinion shaft and axles shaft oil seals
-a heavy coat of epoxy satin black paint so it looks like new again
-new fill plug
-new drain plug
-new carrier cap bolts
-new rear cover bolts

This has not been used since rebuild. I bought it for a project car i was converting to awd. Then i sent it to Jon at TRE for a complete rebuild. Im pretty sure there work speaks for itself.
