By insulators, do you mean the seals that press into your intake manifold?

 

Yeah im confused also,why would you have to buy new injectors because of the insulators ?

 

Ya, the seals that press into the manifold. Everybody keeps calling them insulators, so that's what I put. I'll edit to be more specific.

I showed up to shop with a ripped one. They didn't have any seals to replace it. I was irritated because I was 2 hours away from home and took a vacation day to be there. So I said do you have another set, I'll just sell the 1120s. They had PTE 1000s. Car is done, i don't need the 1120s anymore. Car is repaired and tuned well. I'll lose $80, not a big deal

FIC decided to change the housing of their injectors. So the new ones have a larger inner diameter that isn't the same as older models. CBRD had plenty of seals for all the other injectors FIC has ever made, except the new K-model ones.

 

whats the difference between these and the high impedence ones ? are these good for regular gas or only for E85 ?

Read up on low Impedance vs high. Low Z are plug and play. No special plugs or wiring.

And they are gas or E85. Doesn't matter other then hp capability.
