Hey guys, I have a starter motor that worked well on my 2003 Evo with ~74k miles.

Here's the story: I had intermittent starting issues, turn key, lights dim, nothing. I troubleshooted the ignition switch, relay, etc, then went to troubleshoot the starter, went to disconnect one of the leads on the solenoid, the threaded copper pole broke off. You see it in one of the pics. (Undoing it was completely unnecessary btw)

The real issue turned out to be the female part of the spade connector from the starter relay. The wire had many broken strands and was making poor/intermittent contact.

So this starter worked fine on my Evo when the wire went kaput. AFAIK the teeth and the clutch are both fine.

I'm in 11223, 11201, or 10004, so this is free for pickup. If someone wants it shipped, they'd have to cover the cost.
