No it is dual ball bearing, the serial number may dictate that it is journal but it is not. The turbo was converted to dual ball bearing chra by TURBO DYNAMICS, UK.

The turbo does not require an oil feed from the oil filter housing nor does it need any sort of an external filter/restrictor. It uses the stock oil and water lines as the stock turbo does.

What sort of a moron are you? If you have no interest in the turbo do not post crap on my thread, read the thread properly before you post again, and you obviously have no idea of turbos, the restrictor itself shown in pictures above should suffice enough evidence.

I will repeat once more for those that do not take the time to read the posts in the thread properly. This is a for sale thread of a genuine fp red which was bought in 2011 when no dbb fp reds were out from FP, hence why it was sent to Turbo Dynamics, UK to be converted to a dual ball bearing core. The turbo has only done 800km if so and then was changed for a dbb fp black, this time done by Owen Developments, UK.

if you paying via paypal as 'goods' then buyer is covered for period of time. OP if you have any invoice from turbo dynamics stating work completed on this turbo, post it up. it will help your sale and save you a lot of explaining for sure

 

I do not use paypal, and invoice was thrown away as the turbo was bought and converted almost 5 years ago with no intention to be sold. This is a reluctant sale, if it sells it sells, I'll be as happy keeping it as selling it. The turbo is as described, there will be no more explaining lol as this is not quantum physics.
