what needs rebuilt on it?

 

I would say definitely the floater plates but possibly the hub/disks?.....I rather not say it does not need something because I don't know what is considered normal wear or not. What I do know is it was fine except one day I did a 1-2 and 2-3 gear pull and ever since then it didn't act right, it didn't want to fully disengage to let it go in gear (at a stop). I had an engine problem at the time so that's when I tore it all down and replaced it so I didn't have any worries again but I can post some pics.....to me it sounds like the floater plates warped....From my research you can grind down the inner legs of the clutch basket to resolve no disengagement issues but I have no experience with that so I just replaced it. I'll take some pics
