Selling a Evo 8.5 (2005) turbo with a 10.5 Hotside. The 2005 Evo 8.5 was the first year the 10.5 Hotside was used and was basically a Evo 9 turbo (which came out a year later in 2006).

Turbo's shaft play is well within factory limits and shows zero signs of wear. The journal bearings are in great shape and does not smoke at all. The turbo has just over 10k miles on it and comes with coolant lines and the stock wastegate actuator. The turbo was always turbo times properly and was never abused.

I'm asking $340 shipped obo.

It's not like an EVO IX turbo. The compressor cover on a IX is much larger! Also, most turbine housings are cracked internally from owners running higher than OEM boost levels, thus cracking the F5 Hercunite turbine housing. JDM A3N turbine housings FTW!

You're correct, the compressor housing is slightly larger in the Evo 9 turbo. I actually forgot about that - it's been awhile since I've been in the Evo community.

That being said, the turbine housing is NOT cracked on this turbo (I'm familiar with the common crack).
