RacingBrake ET500 pads, Technafit SS lines, & ATE Blue fluid

I installed all of this stuff yesterday. The fluid so far seems like fluid...expect bright blue! The Technafit lines look very nice, I got the black sheathed SS lines, and quality seems to be very good. One problem though, 1 of the 4 lines rubbed on my tire and black sheath was worn through Although this is something I should have checked before driving, I still feel it is something Technafit should be more careful with during assembly so I will be asking them for a replacement one under warranty. I haven't gotten a good chance to really test the pads yet unfortunately, but they are quiet as can be, not even a single squeak so far and I have ~150 miles on them already. Initial bite feels similar to stock, but before I talk too much about their performance let me give them a good beating next weekend at the first auto-x event of the season

I run the ET500s on my car and just ordered the Technafits. Great combo!

I just sent an email with picture to Technafit; hopefully they'll send me a replacement.

I heard back from Technafit and they will be mailing me a replacement line! I am VERY impressed with their customer service and willingness to stand behind their products.

Can't speak for the pads but the lines and fluids are great. Although the ATE isn't the best, compared to Castrol and Motul, they last a lot longer and is cheaper. For a daily driver, you should be good for 2 years. I autox and the pedal feel is very consistent compared to my buddy's stock lines and fluids.

I plan to bleed annually and flush every-other year. From the research I did, I found this to be some of the best daily-driver weekend-racer fluid available. The Amsoil DOT4 has a bit better performance, but its also 3x the price. Pretty tough to beat $11/liter (enough the flush the entire brake and clutch systems)!

After auto-x last weekend I was fairly disappointed in the pads, they felt very soft, mushy, and just didn't bite that well. Fast forward to last night, I removed the stock pad shims that I reused at the recommendation of Smikevo and wow what a difference! The pads bite nice and hard right at the top of the pedal! They were squealing while I was rebedding them to the rotors, but once I did a few hard stops they've been whisper quiet. Also, I'll add, that after almost two weeks of use and an auto-x event my wheels have very little dust on them. As of right now I'm very impressed and can't wait to autocross again this weekend; I'll report back afterwards!

What shims did you use to improve the feel? Or just got some new stock ones?

Thanks for the review. I bought the ET300's TechniFit lines and Motul RBF600 Fluid as per Smikes pad recommendations. Ill have it all installed next week with a bunch of other suspension/steering mods.

I'll post a review as well

The RB pads are really nice..I have done many AX with the 800 series compounds and they work just fine..plenty of bite/fierce decel. rate. but dusty. Those without RB rotors should not go above the 700 series as generally "OEM spec" rotor metal formulas are to soft for the more aggressive pad compounds.

I am using Rotorpros Slotted and dimppled for the past 80k. No shake, shimmy, pulsing, or cracking. Why swap them out

Girodisc has a set of shims that they sell that I used with my ET500 pads. I have heard no squeal ever since last year.
