Synapse dv ( old big one with c port)
So let me start off by saying I had this terrible idle dip thing after high revs where it would almost stall. I just got a used old style synapse dv with ports a, b, and c. I'm aware I'm supposed to have Port c hooked up to a boost only line. I had it t'd into the wastegate and boost controller line. Then I had a and b t'd together and to the manifold vacuum line. I also tried a only and b only combinations and I still had this idle dip issue ( I wasn't expecting this to fix it). But I found that if I leave no line on port c and just leave Port c vta that now my idle dip has 100% went away and rpms will slowly fall to idle where they should be and no dipping whatsoever . Any thoughts, comments, ideas why this would affect it and if I will cause harm if I leave Port c vta?
