Where to get parts for a evo 1?

I recentyl found an 1993 evo 1 for a good price and is one of the few evos i have seen my country for sale in my price range. But it looks like it needs some parts, so far i have only looked at the pictures and i plan to look at the car next week. Can you look at the pictures and tell me if you think its worth it and what parts i need and where to get them.

This is where it all started. Nice pics

Your best bet is to work w/the guys at the MLR forum. See the link in my sig. All the models are represented in that forum

If youre looking for drive-train parts, most of them could probably be sourced looking at other models. You might be able to source certain parts from Eclipses, Galants, and even some early 90's Chryslers here in the States. Good Luck!

The interior looks pretty rough... and it almost hurts to look at the electrical work in that engine bay, there's basically an open + terminal sitting on the intake manifold, and some kind of "L" shaped bracket sticking off the battery.

I'd be worried about some gremlins hidden in there.

Neat car, but parts availability and manuals not written in Japanese is why I am nervous about anything JDM.
