Looking for an Evo tuner/shop in the NJ area. Know of Ivey but want to see if there's anyone else out there that's good. I heard Procom stopped working on Evos.

I have recently used Ivey and they did a great job tuning my evo 8. As for others in the area I have heard of turbotrix but I couldn't personally tell you anything about them.

 

TSComp is in PA not too far away...

 

Prime Motorsports. Tuned my buddy's X. I believe Junior is the tuner there.

 

Peteyturbo has been around along time and is also a great tuner. He tunes out at KrazyHouseCustoms.

 

Having used several of the tuners previously mentioned over my 13 years of Evo ownership, I would strongly suggest that you find the time to visit CBRD. The time invested in driving out to see Chad is easily justified in the (no headaches) result.

Procom does good work also.

 

I have used him for all my tunes. I think he's great, and very affordable...

 

if its reasonable to you, go into PA and see John Kerr or Grant Zartman

 

whatever you do- don't go to mark french aka frenchtuned- I paid $600 for an sd tune that showed 6-7 counts of knock (dangerous) and had poor drivability in low rpms. prior to the tune my car was knock free. cold start was also a nightmare- i expressed concern with the tune so i went back to him only for him to spend 20 minutes on the dyno before pulling my car off without saying a word to me- talk about a class act.

 

TSComp or Ivey. Don't bother with the rest....
