I finally own a brand new 2015 Evolution. I came from a 2012 Ralliart, which I did love but in the back of my mind I always wanted to move to the Evo. I'm finally there!!! I will post pictures when I am able to. I own a MR Mercury Gray. My Ralliart was black. So far I am enjoying the change of color. I have owned 2 black cars and this is my first gray one.

I look forward to getting some great information from all the long time members

nice! people dont like the Apex Silver, but i do. if i ever got an X, it would be AS color. but the MG looks nice too!

 

Gorgeous evo!!!! Keep it away from the salt roads in Boston during the winter, too nice to get rust

 

trust me, I'm dreading the salt but I doubt I will drive it much in the winter. For sure not with the stock tires and rims. I'm hoping by next year I will have a garage :-)

With stock tires it will fall off the road. Don't even try them in the snow.

thanks guys, I will remember that about the snow. I will most likely buy a second set of rims and tires. Even with the summer tires on the Ralliart, I only drove when the roads were clear.

 

Nice purchase - I just got a Final Edition myself a month ago...but did I see you say MR? WHY.....WHY would you not get a fully manual transmission?!!? Sports cars with automatic tranny's should be illegal (and yes, I consider MR's automatics.) You don't DRIVE automatics. You ride in them. This car is built to be DRIVEN! Other than that, nice buy! lol

 

My first Evolution X was an MR. I now see the advantages of an automatic more as my knees aren't what they used to be. If I had to daily an X in town it might be a wise choice to get an MR. Although the MR trans can be frustrating in traffic as it just wants to go, not slow down and poodle around. Still no knee work though!

 

Nice upgrade! At what mileage did you upgrade from the Ralliart? How did the Railliart SST treat you?
