Got a set of RPF1 18x9.5 +38

Looking to get 265/40/18 if possible.

Any reason these would not fit with a rear roll?

Car is on FA500 coilovers. Looking to use about -2.5 camber up front and around -1.5 in the rear.

What makes this +38 tough is the 9.5" wheel & the 40 series tire. I think it can be done w/a tight rear roll (likely no pull necessary). Likely no rear bumper bolt relocation needed.

This is a very tall tire & the 265 width makes it even taller. (-3.8% speedo error / @60mph it will show 57.6 mph)
-1.5 degrees in the rear should be OK for sure!

It will look & perform real well for sure!

Thanks for the input.

I like the 40 series but was iffy on the fitment. I like the looks better and the side wall protection but was wondering if I should just get a 35 series for ease of fitment.

^^^I certainly like a 40 series for the street protection & the look as you noted, but at the wider width (i.e. 265) causes the tire circumference to get on the very large size

If it was me I may choose the 35 series

265/40 won't fit in the front, it will likely hit the fire wall. Go with 265/35r18. They fit very well.

Yeah I think that's what I will do. 265/35/18 sounds like my best best.

So I have read that the xxr 521 in 18x8.5 25mm offset will fit with no spacers all around. Anyone know if the xxr 531 in 18x8.5 20mm offset will fit with no spacers?

Thats a tough questions as not too many posts on the 8.5". Heres a thread on the 9.5. Read post no. 24 on the 2nd page (Red EVO w/18x9.5 +20)

RPF1s 18x8.5 +30 offset. 255/40or35/18
Evo 9
Meagan Racing Coilovers

-I don't want to roll the fenders unless absolutely necessary. Will this rub?
-inb4 "tire too wide" have heard plenty of ppl running 255s on 8.5s without problems. Plus I can't go narrower, need the meat for the 750hp XD

You will need a roll to be safe. The 8.5 wheel does help your situation vs running a 9" wheel. The +30 wheel running a 255/40 tire will need at least a 3/4 roll of the rear fender lip.

This is based on running stock rear camber & not running any more than -1.8 degrees. Do not recommend running any more camber than that for performance reasons

Is there a 18in wheel spec/tire combo on the RPF1s that would work without a roll?
