Anyone run 245/40r18

Maybe I'm terrible at searching but I didn't find any success.

I currently run 255/35r18 on my rota 9.5et20 wheels

I thought I ordered 245/35r18's, but I ordered the 40 profile instead
Now I'm curious what differences I may encounter going to a taller tire.
I'm on coilovers so no concerns with the stock spring seat.

Before I eat shipping costs 3 times, anyone have pictures and experience with this setup?
245/40r18

Thanks

UPDATE: So i kept the tires and been running them for a week. Because of the difference in tire diameter, I went ahead and raised the suspension 0.25"-0.30"
In doing so I found my FR left was a tad on the low side in height compared to the right...oops, so we fixed that.
Everything else I didn't change and I have no rubbing.
These Continental DW side walls are very curved, not square so I think that helps.

As you know, the +20 offset is a tough one to fit w/out rub

I see you decided on running a narrower width, Why?

I like 40 series tires as they do two thing really well. Great road protection & they look meaty

If you havent relocated the rear bumper bolt, you will need to do that now for proper fit

What work has been done to the rears to run your current set up & how bad is the rub?

I went with a narrower tire because it was cheaper and I really don't drive that crazy anymore to need a 255 tire (like I needed it anyway).
With the 255's I only rub on the bumper bolt area on some serious bumps, I have the rear fenders rolled.
I did figure the 245's should help the bumper rub condition without trimming it.
However, I'm not opposed to modding the rear bumper (considered it anyway), but I am now remembering when I got my 255's new from 235/45/17, I had slight rubbing on the mud flap area of the front at full steer. I'm worried going with a taller tire might cause that issue, its not clear, width vs height.

Thanks for being honest about the +20's. You really need a slight pull w/your roll & the bumper bolt relocate & you should be OK running no more than -1.8 degrees of rear camber

The fronts are OK but yes, some liner rub is likely but most of us have just let the tire rub through or you can heat gun it to fit

Your overall circumference is almost identical to mine & if you do the above treatment you will be OK. I use to run w/guys running the meaty 255/40/18

If I were to start over w/you I would have recommended a much higher offset so you can run the aggressive wide tires (265 & above)

Oh, BTW, I would also raise your front ride height so there is some finger gap. Love your EVO's looks, but the front susp looks a bit upside down

Yeah et20 is a tad much for an evo. I really just loved this specific wheel look so much it would benefit if it came in other sizes with this concave.
When I got them many years back everyone was gunho about +20 aggressive awesomeness, but I feel over the years some serious knowledge and know how have trumped and clarified the fitment issues.
I plan to raise the suspension a tad with these taller tires either way.

I'm leaning towards keeping these tires, I just hope I don't regret it.

What is your wheel setup?
Got any pictures to share?

The +20 w/the 245/40 overlays very close to my set-up. So if the rear fender work is done it will work OK
My set-up is 265/40/17 on a 17x9.5 +30 (tires are Federal which run a size wide. Fenders are cleared for 275's)
