Clear Title / Carfax 32,000 Mile WW 05 MR with Blown Motor

I'm open to the idea of trading for a higher mileage Evo or C5 plus cash but I need a decent bit of cash to do it. I don't mind a car that's not in the best shape if it means cheap.

I'm posting a feeler to sell my very clean Wicked White 2005 MR with a blown motor. The car only has around 32,000 miles on it and has no accidents on Carfax. The car is in nearly perfect condition.

I broke a rod over a year ago and the block, head and turbo were damaged but anything else on the car I would include in the sale. Transmission is the stock 6 speed with stock clutch. The car was supposedly babied by the previous owner and was never launched in the 5k miles I had it. Shifts great and the clutch didn't slip with an HTA73 Green tuned just past the limits of the stock rods.

I am only looking into selling the car because when looking at how I'm going to build the car I am really looking at building more of a track car and do not want to use such a clean low mileage car as my starting point.

Forgot to mention a parts list I could include with the car or keep some of to come down on price...
FIC 1050 injectors
ETS mini battery kit (battery is dead and won't charge)
Custom 2.75 inch UICP
Full 3 inch exhaust (no stock replacement)
Evo X wheels (no stock replacement)
As I think of more things I will update this list. I also have many more current pictures for serious potential buyers.

10.5k offer so far but still not at a price where I would be willing to sell as is.

Don't know how to even price this car honestly so don't want to just post something unreasonable.

Going off topic and im not gonna argue with anyone, its not even my thread.... I been buying & selling evos for quite a little bit now... I know people have paid more then 10.5k for a totaled car, i've watched it with my own eyes, but i never said anything about a salvage title roller. From what i understood, this is a full car in need of a motor rebuild ...... Beleave me, I have lost plenty of cars to people willing to pay crazy amounts....That was just my 5 cents

Bump for OP

Imo, fix it, or part it out. You will never get top $ for a non running car.

Even if you spend $10k getting it running, if its truly that clean, it'll fetch close to $30k probably.

You think it would still bring that with an engine from the classifieds on the forum and not a fresh built motor? I could pick up an engine for 3k or so probably so that would be the way to go. I wouldn't try to sell it without telling someone about the engine. Probably would be sold on this forum anyways where everyone already knows.

Would you guys really pay over 10k more for a car with a 3k dollar engine? I'm up to a 15k offer on the car now.

Buddy, if I were you I would just pick this up for cheap, swap it in, find a used evo 8/9 turbo and call it a day. Really would help the value of the car if it only ran.

15k is not too bad, but it does have higher potential.

Keep it and use it as the base for your track build. Don't think of it as a low mileage car, think of it as a clean rolling shell.

No one has to know you swapped the motor, as long as you one with good compression/leak down and doesn't smoke...just saying.

But yes, your car with those miles would fetch over $25k running..

Originally listing updated with price. 18k obo, offers under previous best of 15k will not be considered. If the car doesn't sell in a reasonable time I will be building it and keeping it.
