I recently got my Evo tuned and the power at low rpms is really low. it takes 2-3 seconds for the car to get moving and into about 3000 rpm and then it goes like a scalded cat. Just wondering if someone could take a look at my tune and see if there's something missing for lower rpm tuning ?
Mods
Evo 6 with Evo 8 ECU and Evo 9 Turbo
GSC S1 Cams
3" straight exhaust turbo back, no cat.
1050 FIC injectors.
255 walbro
Gas used is 94 Octane. If I launch the car at anything lower than 4000 to 5000 rpm, the car has no power at all and takes a few seconds to get back upto the powerband rpms again. If I launch above 5000 and slip the clutch, the car takes off pretty good, lots of wheel spin in the dirt. Its especially noticeable during slow turns where I have to slip the clutch to keep the rpm's up to have any power.
The whole deal is costing me a lot of lost time when I rallycross in a massive field of Subarus. The car is definitely fast at higher rpm's and I dont want to lose the high power rpm's that i currently have. If there is some way to get some power at the bottom, that would be perfect.
50 degrees of timing advance?? Fuel trims way outta whack, time to find a new tuner before you blow that engine up. You have no power because you are igniting the mixture before the piston has even finished the compression stroke.

Thanks everyone for your help with this. I will be contacting the tuner with this info. I will be getting it re-tuned elsewhere. attached is the log for 3rd gear pull with this tune.
took a second look at your logs, your numbers during your pull don't look as insane as i thought. You still have some issues for sure though. You are way too rich at 30% throttle and < 120 load. You are getting knock and there are some places where your timing is at 0 degrees. Those 50 numbers i was seeing before are also concerning but they aren't where i thought they where in the log, maybe my formatting was messed up, could be some kind of engine braking i dunno.
For example at 2500 rpm 30% throttle 90 load your at 10.9 AFR
3600 RPM 30% throttle 70 load 11.3 AFR 41 degrees of timing advance (Yikes) That much advance with that much fuel at that rpm is kinda scary.
