So I have apparently developed a coolant leak for unknown reasons. I'm not sure where it is coming from? I've inspected the surrounding hoses as best as I could and don't see anywhere it would be leaking from.
Lol mine just got a coolant-leak under the throttle-body too! Mine lost a lot of coolant-though, enough to not have heat in the car. Thats how I notice something was up.
I first though it was coming from the heater coolant-line but it might be TB coolant-lines. Took off the heater line and one TB line and they both look ok. So now I'm not sure where its coming from. Think I'm gonna put everything back together tomorrow, top of the coolant-again and watch for it leaking or spaying. I'm thinking its a tiny pin hole so its really hard to tell just by looking at the lines.

Mine is leaking from the hose that goes from my FP Red to right under the thermostat. Does anyone by chance know the dimensions on that hose? (longshot, i know)
Also, if i take that hose off to replace will i need to bleed the cooling system?
Found and fixed my leak It was the upper (shorter) throttle-body coolant-line. Had a 1/4" split right on the bottom of it so it was hard to see.
How do you bleed the system? I though it would self bleed because I had my overflow bottle pretty full, after driving 5-10 minutes the radiator-sucked up a lot of it
We bleed cooling systems with a coolant funnel. It allows for coolant to stay gravity fed and able to burp up into a funnel.
You can just let it idle with cap off let it cycle through a thermostat open. Let the fans kick on to verify peak temp was reached with out overheating. Put the cap on. Gonna be messy but if you don't have that funnel........

A coolant funnel is best, it connects in place of the radiator cap. I have a 98 cent plastic funnel that is a tight fit in the radiator filler neck and does the same job. Coolant expands a little as the engine warms up but air expands a lot. So start and idle the engine with the radiator full and as the engine idles the coolant will climb up the funnel. Finally when the thermostat opens there's a big burp and the coolant disappears. Fill again and cap - you are done.

I need to invest in a coolant funnel. I've burped systems but without a funnel and it can be messy.
Im not sure what this funnel looks like but I'm guessing its just a regular funnel with the bottom opening that fit perfectly into Evos radiator cap opening. If thats the case can't you just take any old $.50 funnel and cut the bottom until the opening is exact size of the Evos radiator cap?
