I think there's a big cruise meet in Huntsville on Sept. 10th. Various cars.

As far as tuners go, based on your location I would call Eric Urness at APR in Auburn. It's a Audi/VW tuning shop, but Eric owns a 800+whp Evo IX and can tune Evos.

Hey guys, bump for your area thread!

I relocated to AL (Mobile/Eastern Shore area) a little over a year ago. I haven't been on this site in a long time, but have still been enjoying my Evo. Unfortunately, I've decided to sell my Evo, and was going through my parts bin. I really don't want to deal with shipping much, so figured I'd post a feeler here to see if anyone local, or near local could save me the hassle.

OEM parts off my 06' IX MR:

Entire IX turbo/manifold/oil drain/wg/o2 housing completely in-tact. The parts have never been separated. I unbolted the manifold and exhaust and removed the whole thing as one. It was removed from my car at only 13k miles and has been sitting on a shelf since. No shaft play. It was barely broken in when I did my turbo upgrade.

Stock BOV
Stock LICP
Stock radiator Fan
Stock MR springs (front and rear)
Stock clutch and fly wheel
Stock fuel injectors
Stock DP
Stock catalytic converter
Stock fuel pump
Stock lower front motor mount
Stock shifter bushing

Brand new (never installed):
Brian Crower valve springs w/titanium retainers, part# BC0100
Power Enterprises Kevlar timing & balance shaft belt kit

Also have a barely used 1 gallon can of DiaQueen.

Obviously, shipping the turbo setup would be a huge pain and super expensive, hence seeing if any locals are interested. Same goes for the DiaQueen (hazmat is $$ to ship). I haven't put together an ad for my Evo just yet, but took the pictures today to start on one. I also have pictures of all this stuff, with my username/date sign...just haven't gotten to hosting the images and putting the post together yet. PM me and I can send you pictures.

Posted this in General but might be better in an Alabama thread...

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...hlight=alabama

Not sure which forum to post this in, but since it's an Evo X issue, going with this one.

Can anyone recommend a shop to fit a new clutch in my X. I did the first one myself, and don't relish the idea of doing it again. Dealer cost would be pretty prohibitive, and I feel that an experienced Evo shop could do it a LOT faster than I could.

I am happy to provide the parts, just need the labour, and the flywhel probably needs to be refaced.

I am in Huntsville, Alabama.

Thank you for any and all input,

Jim M. (lukyduc@outlook.com)

Chris here. Well modified Wicked White Evo Viii in Madison. Car is down for crank angle sensor replacement right now. Will be back on the streets ASAP. Looks stock but making about 450 awhp on E85. You can hear it from a mile away at WOT as it’s running O2 dump.
