Huge respect for you at home car builders! I spent many years doing that when I was young. I'm lucky enough now to own a shop and I do all my work there, My 2 car at home is basically tire storage.

I'm not sure we would tackle a car like this without a shop at our disposal nowdays, so like I said, huge respect for you at home folk. Can't get it all in one pic....short breakdown.

9k sq. ft.
7 lifts
Laser alignment rack
Fab area with welder/bandsaws/etc.
Tire mounting and balancing.

Biggest help is nut and bolt inventory haha.

Two spots on my property. 2nd garage and a heated shop.

Have a 50x50 for storage

And a 40x60 with 2/3 of it insulated and finished for my shop area.

We talkin an hour closer or? That's quite the setup to give up on for living in the same town. Esp when your project is still in progress.

No only 10 minutes closer to work. But going from single to married and 2 kids priorities have changed. Current place takes about 10 hours per week just on yard upkeep. Double that in spring and fall. So giving up some space, but will have more time to actually work on stuff.
