i created this thread to make a list of people that want a custom ecu flash tune. this list is for people that are 100% sure they want a custom tune. there are a couple of tuners that are willing to come out to denver for this, aem tuning also might be a possibility. we will not set a date until we have atleast 5 people that are in, but i would like to have this happen early next year(jan-march) or whenever the 5 or more people decide.

in the past, there have been numerous attempts to get atleast 5 people together for a tuner to come out to denver and provide a tuning session. unfortunately, it has never worked as we were always a couple of people short. i know there are a couple of people that are 100% sure they want a custom tune(like myself). if you want to be added to the list, please post. thanks!

its pretty much open, depending on who people want. Al from dynoflash is willing to come out and so is Nick from Precision Dyno who tunes Ecutek and Aem.

Im hoping Al will read this will you be able to tune a 20G by this spring? And also will the V2 ( 2 map flash) be extra???

 

I would be down if he can do a quick flash back to stock. WHat time frame are we looking at. If we are doin git soon....great I will wait. If not I will just have to send my ECI to Al now. I am in need of a new flash.

if i could sell my VW engine and get enough for a clutch and the tune and some more mods I would do it but its not likely to be quick, plus im not selling my house anymore so that may hurt me a little in that dept.

 

i totally understand. this list is just for people that are 100% wanting a tune so then we can decide on a date. i, acutally, need sometime before the tune so i can get a bunch of parts installed. im sure it will not be for alteast a month or two.

 

If it is not going to be for a month or two then I will have to say probably not. I am looking to get my ECU flashed back to stock, and I will be doing it within a week or two. Thank you for trying to set it up anyways. I wouldn't be so impatient if everything was running right.

 

I'm in, this'll give me time to start saving for it now.

 

TwStDeVo, sorry for not returning your PM. I'd be interetsted, I am using the UTEC with TXS tuner though, but I sure hope I can get all the parts in by then. Installation is nothing, the wait is what's the killer. Going on 9 weeks now. Worth the wait though.

 

When is the approx. date for this to happen? if he comes to colorado i would like to come out and see this as i would like to meet Al face to face. i live in AZ but i am from colorado and i can never pass up an event like this, especially when i can learn something from it.
