Intercooler Kit With Stock AIr Box ?

Hey guys I did a search but didnt come up with anything. Anyone know of Intercooler kits (Intercooler & Piping) that will fit with the stock air box? Reason I ask as I would like to keep my stock box since I track the car. Also Im looking for a intercooler that will run good with the stock turbo or the 20G-9.

Thanks!

I couldn't find anything so I decided to get a Turboxs fmic with out the pipes(just the core) and a LICP.....I'm keeping the stock UICP so I can use the stock air box.

The nisei IC pipe will work with the stock intake and I believe David Buschur said they were going to make their IC pipes work with it as well (I don't know if that change has been completed or not.) Neither kit will work with the stock battery but I don't see why the IC itself would matter at all.

So what mods do you have that make you think you need an IC? Other than the ricer mod?

So what evidence do you have that you need a new IC?

ARC is way over priced. Though, it's a ricers delight, I suppose.

Dude WTF is your problem?

.... the car was getting heat soked at the track when it was 100% stock .... now with TBE, O2 Housing, Walbro, Drop In Air Filter, Dynoflash Custom tune, and more boost I know its going to get worst.

If you tracked your car you would understand and wouldnt be making stupid comments

Duuuude, you remind me of a kid with a 2ltr automagic jetta that wanted to install a narrowband o2 gauge on stock programming. When I inquired why, his reply was he wanted to know what the motor is doing. Rrrrright.

Well, your response is quite similar. If you want a flashy IC to look good go for it. But I've yet to see any hard evidence that the stock IC is junk. Saying that, what's your IAT under a hard run? What's your IAT at idle? What IAT are others seeing in similar conditions? What temps do you expect to see afterward?

I don't see anything wrong with questioning someone for why they want to do something. But since I'm sure you know what you're doing, I'm sure you've already looked into Spearco and Garrett cores, right?
