Would this car ever have the potential to feel something close to my late 350z? With some modifications, would it excite me as the Z had? Are there going to be some deep growling exotic sounding exhasuts to make me feel like im driving a car, and not a fart machine? Will it be powerful and move with authority, or is the taste pf the Z going to stay in my mind forever? I understand i shouldnt be expecting much from a 2.0 inline 4, but i am asking....

Keep the Z. You can't expect anywhere near the same performance from a FWD 2L.

The Gymkhana event went Great!!

We ran our RRM Turbo RA. It set the fastest FWD time of the day! It ran great and truely surprised everybody. IT beat numerous AWDs and RWDers.

Our 2008 was the fastest FWD in the limited class. That was our goal.

Daijiro Yoshihara ROCKSTAR drift driver drove the RRM DE as did SUPER STREET's John Naderi. Both were really impressed. Mitsubishi had a stock GTS to drive against our DE. Our DE blew it away with minor mods. Daijiro talked on TV about it and gave it great praise. It was a a real bonus. SS had an STI and the RRM DE. Guess what our DE was only .2 sec slower that the STI!. That was with the same driver. What do you got to say about that huh? Pics tomorrow. We never Gymkhanaed but I think all of our racing experience paid off and we were a force to be feared in the future for Gymkhana!

Wow great to hear that RRM 08 lancer did so good. I guess since it was only 0.2 seconds slower than the STI then the handling of the 08 lancer must be amazing. I take it the Evo X would have blown the doors off of the STI then :P
