Which Megan Downpipe?

I am wanting to get the megan turbo-back exhaust. I have an 05 evo 8. The downpipes are listed as a 05+ evo IX and then an 03-04 VIII. I am wanting the one with the flex pipe, but it is listed for a 03-04 VIII. Would this be the one I need?

i dont think you can have a flex pipe on 05+ because it rubs the transfer case, someone correct me if im wrong wiht this info... im running a megan with no flex pipe and love it... see no need for the flex anyways

Thats what im thinking. I just dont know cause of the way they are listed. The evo 8 downpipe is the one with the flex pipe but it says for 03-04 evo 8's. What about the 05 evo 8's. Which downpipe do we use?

Ok, cause actually I ordered a full turbo back exhaust. The company I got it from sent me the wrong down pipe, and I never got the cat back. So its all going back and Im getting my money back and going to another vendor!

Contact Zeus. He is a vendor on here and can provide you with the best pricing on Megan products. I bought mine through him and could not have been more pleased. BTW, you want the 05+ without the flex section. The 05+ are made to clear the ACD.

I have the Megan downpipe with flex section from TTP engineering. My flex section is close to the transfer case but doesn't rub. Personally I rather have the down pipe flex since the engine is not a stationary system, moves quite a lot. I had no issues with it making noises.
