I'm looking to get a tune for my IX from the best. AWD! So I've saved up to get some supporting mods (3" FMIC, MBC etc) before the tune; But the clutch is slipping really bad. I have orders to California and next month will be the last time my car is in Florida for a looooong time!

Now, my question to you guys is; Would it be ok to get a tune on a car with a slipping clutch? I will be replace the clutch shortly after, but I don't want to spend $4k+ on everything next month.

 

Must get the clutch fixed..... how can you tun it if you can not get the power to the ground?

 

That's what I figured, but just wanted to ask. Thanks for the input...

 

Correct the car cannot get a proper tune if its slipping thru the RPM range..
