Does your car have cams?

Option 1. Pretty quiet.
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...t-exhaust.html

Option 2. Stock quiet but mostly for stock cam folks, or stock like smoothness.
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...y-muffler.html

There are absolutely no other options out there. I have tried almost everything. Unless you want something that has tapers and restrictions inside.

And most important is perception. Every one thinks their exhaust is quiet. But is it really?

Run the stock exhaust from the cat back and have a reputable shop weld on a QTP electronic exhaust cutout to your AMS downpipe. This way you can have a nice super quite exhaust 99% of the time and the most freeflowing exhaust for that 1% of the time when you need/want it.

^^ true 3 inch system ? Obviously you guys have not checked and or measured the inside of the tanabe medallion muffler . It necks down to 2.65 inches , I verified by trimming a piece of cardboard till it slid in.

Also I agree on how good it sounds and how quiet it is , but only as a catback . Once you add downpipe and or replace the stock cat it gets louder than that 95 db. That was the first catback I have owned for my evo and loved it till I opened up the exhaust even more .
