yeah the wankle can have problems, but it really isn't any differenet then any other engine. the 13b is a very competint engine that has a lot of potential, the problem is that most people don't treat them very well. they are trouchy in the same way a piston motor is after it is boosted really high etc. I know people with 125k miles on their factory motor & turbos, and I know people that go through B18s every 30k.... all depends on the driver and how they maintain their car

Not bad at all. I'm digging it. Question is now, who's faster: RX-7 or the Rex?

no comparison...
my RX7 is way faster in every way on dry pavement
the car weights 2760 lbs and has over 300 rwhp... I can run with Z06s & Vipers.... probably won't beat either, but it is close

actually my 7 is for sale....
I am tired of having 2 car & insurance payments, and rx7s don't exactly make good snow cars....

so selling the fd, the outback's lease is almost up & then getting an evo...

Man I have always loved those 7's. I went riding with a group of guys on my R6 and there was a 7 (heavily modded) that was running the 1/4 pretty close to us on sport bikes, it was kind of embarassing, so we took him to some twisties and lost him.
