For Sale Section idea

Well, i got this crazy idea that I think will work.

In the for sale section, have 1 post at the top, edited by someone(ill volunteer) that lists all parts for sale by each member, i.e. like this:

Lancer Parts
Suspension:

Tein S-Tech Springs - HobieKopek
Tein SS Coilover - Ozlancerlunitic

Engine:

RMR Intake - Cerfur
RRM Header - Cerfur

Evo Parts

Suspension:

HKS Coilovers - XXxxx

Engine:

Arc Intake - xxx

Turbo Parts:

and so on. This way peopel can go to one major list of parts and search for what they are looking for. I would be willing to give it a test run and moderate the for sale forum since I am online so much. I think this will be easier instead of people keep on bumping threads, etc. I am getting confused .

Flame me if you wish but I think it will work. And members can get their parts added by PMing me, and I think people would do it if they knew that their parts were ALWAYS at the top of the list.

I think it's a great idea.

But I also think that it would be terribly hard. When you log off for the evening, you're going to have people pissed that they don't get added in until the next day, etc.

thats soemthing that people will have to deal with, i dont go to bed till 3 am and then im on the next day early. I only sleep 4 hours a day(yes, i realize I have a problem but it doesnt effect me, another story for another day) and if people get mad at me, too bad, they can wait a day to ALWAYS know that they are at the top.

btw, this is JUST for car parts, not for misc stuff like games/musical instruments, etc.

i think that is a nice idea, that way when i am looking for lancer parts, i will not have to sort through millions of evo parts, since some people do not state which vehicle they are for. great idea, i say go for it

way to much room for human error if you want a mods opinion.
seller might say the wrong type of item, seller might not get back with you when the item is sold, no way to see the sellers feedback rating. that's just a few that I can think of off the top of my head.

not to mention you would have to be on the site 24/7 and if you got burnt on doing it, I don't know anyone else that would want to do it.

actually there are a lot of the staff (and admin specifically) that can code, so I dont' really see what your talking about?

vBulletin looks good out of the box, why mess it up?
