EvoM needs to upgrade

Lately the site has been very boggy if not slow or not working at all. Lately I have been getting database errors, or the server is full check back at another time. Somtimes the site won't pull up at all. Is there an upgrade to new servers in EvoM's future? I know they have upgraded at least 3 times already if I can remember correctly, but it seems EvoM is out growing its current platform. Can KK comment on this?

BTW, This has happened to me on three different types of connections and 4-5 different computers, so I know its not my end of computers or connection just to clarify. All highspeed connections (DSL, Cable, and our screamin fiberoptics here at work) and highspeed computers.

they also need to update the post times, they are still off by the hour we gained for the time change, at least in my region. Anyone notice this?

I have no problems with the time (my computer clock says 12:46 right now, which is the right time EST). I have had the page load up issue, where some of the text will show up and the blue background (but all stretched out over the page), but many links will be missing and no pictures. I usually just wait a few minutes and get back on and it's ok, though. Haven't really thought much of it.

You need to change your time settings in your Control Panel. Mine posts the correct time. Now back to the topic......

Actually, i just now clicked new posts and the time on the first post matched the time on my computer. They must have recently changed, because before it was off by exactly one hour.

good deal!!

These problems aren't frequent, but more of when the server is really loaded or I just get on at that right time of day that this happens.

I'm in the no problems category, in the last 3 months I've only had 1 or 2 database errors the whole time. No issues with pages displaying correctly (maybe you should get a real web browser. Often times display problems are caused by your computer not rendering the HTML correctly. As for page load speeds, only time I have issues is at work, and that's not an EvoM problem

I've seen a few database error emails sent to me so I'll look into what could be causing those to pop up. The database server isn't even close to being loaded though. It could be a network issue of some kind.

Anyone with incorrect times can update their settings in the user control panel. Make sure to select DST to auto and that "should" correct the 1 hour issue.
