Carsponsorships.com offers a sponsorship with different companies that they are suppose ot have relations with. The deal is, you send them $89.00 and in return they send you a list of companies that you can get discounts from. I myself personally know a few people who have tried this. They have sent them the $89.00 and never hear anything again.

You do not need to send companies money to have them sponsor you. Do not trust third party companies to give you sponsorship through them with other companies. Sponsorships should be done through the company itself. Carsponsorships.com is just a scam company that takes your money.

They have been around for over 3 years (as far as I know, maybe longer). They have changed their name to avoid people noticing that it is them. But each company under the different names offer the same thing $89.00 and you get the sponsorship. Do not let them fool you!

I just read and posted in two different threads about this very recently. This is not the first time I have read about this either. I have read about people getting scammed and people not liking the banner on this site also!

Let's all sign and say you do not want to see the banner on here again! It is time to stand up and speak for what we believe in and know! Evom Unite!!

I think one less banner will not hurt. Yes it is money. Yes I have seen it other places on the internet. But do not trash this site with garbage like this. I have been part of these forums for a VERY long time now (not as long as some of you guys though), and I would not like to see it advertise these types of scams to new people to the world of Lancers/EVOs. I have been tuning my car for a while now and have learned about this company. New people to this site will not. They will see the banner and jump right on it. I am doing this to help out anyone who is in potential to get scammed, and so should you. It is not right and the compnay should be shut down.

 

banners create revenue, anyone who uses the search function can see the past.

we need both. (revenue and people to use the search button)

 

I say get it off there, they are blood suckers taking the money of some kid thinking "this is my chance", its just wrong. Lets keep bumping this all the time to keep it on everyones mind. They are just sitting on the beach counting the money saying "suckers!"

I know this site does. But not that one. I will go find a ocmpany to adverise on here with a banner in place of that. Car sponsorships probably pay you a lot to have it on here, I see it on other sites too. I mean how much money could they not have for getting free money and not having to do a thing except falsly advertise on sites like these.

I had Cerious Performance wanting to advertise, even sent in and advertising request over 3 months ago and never heared a thing back. If this site was really in desperate need, I'm sure we would have heared back?

 

Exactly! Seems that everyone knows the company now, but more posts keep popping up about it saying people got screwed. It seems to be especially the kids new in the scene and new to the site. That's a bad part on Evom's choice of advertising themselves.

 

5.Evolution7GSR, please take that crap off of here!!!!!!!! like pumpdog said it is nothing but a scam. When I logged onto the internet today (evom being my home page ) i saw that and it made me sad and automatically thought less of this place i call home.
