Hyperlinking other Boards webpage...

Sorry if this topic have been discuss before.

Well is it that only me have notice that you can't post/hyperlink other board webpage here in Evom? Is this new rule or something? Is this have to do with plokivos?

it's only some sites.

mainly due to mass spam on this site trying to promote it.

or so I believe... I can link to other forums that I visit.

I would like a clarification on this. I often refer to DcEvoClub.com, but it's not spam, nor is it to take business away from EvoM. We just have a local club that does tons of stuff together, and the "Mid-Atlantic" forum just doesn't cut it. We can't have one section for 10 states to all coordinate activities, so I reference people to DcEvo. Well, recently, it always shows up as a bunch of asterisks with the link automatically disabled, and I don't understand it. If you look at my now erased post count, you will see that I have far more posts here than on DcEvoClub, but we simply cannot operate as a local club within the confines of this board. It makes no sense to disable our referencing and linking to the local board when it in no way detracts from the EvoM clientele. This is event when you see that almost all of our regulars at DcEvo are frequent posters on this site...

Edit: Now that I make this post, I see that it's not happening suddenly. Is it just in this forum, or was the moratorium lifted?
