That happens when we hit 400 people. The old server used to crash past 125. This one's pretty stable up to about 350 it seems. At 400 or so you get the too busy message.

Well thanks Andrew for clearing it up, I was about to give up for the day.

 

If that's so, We might need a server change (again! ) sometime in the future. As currently we have double the more members online as before, when there wasn't the Evo's around. Right now were averaging around 350-400+ members online daily.

 

Ah, no more servers!!! We probably do need a new server... I'll be taking a look for something that should last us for a while.

And this current server isn't even 3 months old yet.

EDIT: I was going crazy during the server change back at January. Those 3 days were horrible. I hope you get a server that can at least handle double the load as the current server. I'm shure we'll get more members online as people here get more and more Evo's. Heck last night, the most members online was around 324. Today is at least averaging around 450!

 

The truth is that there will be more people here. What kind of specs make a good server? Dual 3ghz cpu's?

Why don't we set up donation to our friend Mark for a better server?

 

I'm not sure what the plans are yet, but we may need two servers running if we're going to be getting more traffic than this. I might try adding some memory to see if that can help in the meantime.
