Here's a novel idea if you're going to move my posts....

How about I start putting stuff in the correct forum, and then you start moving them to the correct forum.

A tuning thread that goes to engine/turbo/drivetrain...

Who did I **** off anyway? It doesn't matter what I post it gets moved, I made a vandelism post and it gets moved to off topic, even though there have been thousands of the same type of posts in evo general.

Here's another OUTSTANDING bit of brain energy, why don't you IM the person when you move the post so they don't do it again?

I post something that provides information, it gets moved. Joe blow asks "WHAT IS TEH BESTESTS CAT-BACK 4 EVOS?". You get 15 people telling him to search, then you get Warrtalon giving his opinion, then you have 30 people attack Warrtalon and the guys question slips away. Then when I search for a question the first 90 posts have the same question I'm looking for but all of the replies are "SEARCH FIRST IDIOT!!!"

Sorry for the rant, but I would say the last 7 out of 10 posts I've created have been moved in favor of someone asking something stupid. I see friggin polls that ask "How much money do you make?" and "Do you own your home?", those are relevant?

Guess what? Moving to Feedback forum.

I appreciate your question and comments. Many of the PM's we send concerning moderator actions (including moving posts) go unread. In other words, the moderator takes the time to write a note concerning what got moved and where and the member does not even open it. Considering the number of post that get moved for valid reasons, there is not time to send each member a note.

The majority of moved posts are easy to understand why and a note is unnecessary. A question on injector size belongs in a technical forum, not general. Some are not so easy and each mod makes a decision. There is no gamesmanship occurring concerning your post. I didn't move them, but I'm sure the mod who did felt it was justified to keep some semblance of order and structure to the site.

And finally, the members set the tone and content of this site NOT the mods. All we can do is clip the extreme behaviour that disrupts the site. If the members as a whole do not want discussions such as who owns a house, then they need to report those posts and we will respond.

If you need to find the posts click on your screen name then on "Find more posts by..."

Regardless of where it was moved to (unless of course it was deleted) it will show up there and you will be able to view the thread/post.

or "When you post a new thread, or reply to a topic, you can choose to automatically add that thread to your list of subscribed threads." That's what I do.
