Herein lies the problem. There is a group of members who view this site (and others like it) as their personal venting space. This is a community and when you post, you should post as you were talking to a group of friends, family, and acquaintences - some of whom you may not actually like, but most of whom you'd get along with quite nicely in person. Now maybe you (ODUB) are brash and course in those situations, but probably not. But just because someone is typing something out to a perceived group of strangers does not grant license to be a raging a-hole. The members who find themselves being shown the ban-stick are frequently the ones who don't get that.

 

billy, well said. Can we move this back to evo general? The only reason Im suggesting is that I think more and more people need to be aware of this negative mentality going around. jus s thought

 

Been here for over 2 years as well...I feel that all is well except for some folks...well actually one so far. I'm sure we all know what kind of show he puts on. It's stated in his avatar.

 

Pretend it's real life.
Someone dings your car in the parking lot.

Do you:
1) jump out and beat them down
2) call the cops, get a report, get the insurance info and file a claim

I'm guessing it's #1, sadly.
