idea for a Lounge forum

i just came up with the idea of a Lounge area. because now i see the forums are getting very strict with certain words and what not. i dont know if any of the mods are famliar with clubrsx. but when i was there when i used to have a rsx their was a lounge area anything could be talked about just no pornoagraphy. i feel its something you guys should consider. thanks for any considerations.

well as i said, this would be just about everything no rules of course with the exception of no nudity and what not. basically talk about whatever whenever. politics, news, movies, music and basically be able to speak our minds even if some were to use profanity and what not. i understand its not tolerated in majority of the forum but this one area it could be.

Use off-topic. IMO, there are THOUSANDS of words in the english language. I'm sure that at least one of them can be used instead of feeling the need to use profanity every other word.

Also, you can always just leave out a letter... or let it filter itself. Everyone knows what it means at that point anyways.

If they were to open something like that, I could see it getting out of hand very quickly and having to be closed. If it were a paid area, I could see it being a bit more laid-back (anything goes), but I don't know if that's a step EvoM is willing to take.

it wasnt even a paid area in clubrsx back then. and i know there are THOUDSANDS of words but you seriously think people will say something else some people just want to blirt out something profane.i feel it shouldnt be a problem if we were to have this section. because i was counseled the other day by a mod telling me its trying to be more of a family oriented site. i mean it wasnt even that bad or words. also to boot how many minors do we have on this site that we cant say a$$? just my 2 cents really. i thought this site was more for the sophiscated adult enthusiast. not the minors coming in here asking what would be a "neat" BOV. get what im saying?

So we should cater to these social deviants with borderline tourette's?

Have some self control. If you can't live without the few words that hit the swear-filter, you need a new vocabulary.

PS - I know some minors on the board. Maybe they don't need to see you swear?

So you just want a topic that's like OT but there is swearing aloud? Sounds to me like a waste of time, try using a differant word to get your point accross. I understand that when talking you might swear because you didn't have enough time to think of something else to say, but when posting on message boards you should always think of what you're about to say in the best possible way.

ok i agree with you all, but it just starting to seem a little ridiculous with even saying things that are found in the dictionary are considered swearing words? i was counseled over a thread i made many many months back because of the word A$$? i mean cmon. i guess you dont see my point but. you guys are the mods.
