WTF is wrong with EVOM lately?
i thought evom had officially gone to war with s2ki. meanwhile over at nasioc they're laughing their heads off, and srtforums wants to know where all the attention went.
in all seriousness, i really do enjoy it when things like this happen. months from now in OT, somebody will say "hey, remember that article from s2ki?", and we'll all have a good laugh. if evom was just a straightforward techincal resource and nothing more, it wouldn't be any fun at all, and all of us daily addicts would be on another forum whoring away.
EVOM4LIFE (until i get a honda, in which case i'll be chased out off the forums with torches and pitchforks)

Admin need to take note.You can post a street racing thread and it'll hit 2-3+ pages and get shutdown the next day. Try that in any other forum and it's shutdown withen 10mins, good grief.

anybody else wants to complain about the way we do thing? some poeple call us ***** and say that we over moderate, some guys say that we don't moderate enough. you guys are something else...
we deal with about 20-30 reported posts everyday and close, move, rename, delete about 30 threads. it seems like some of you like to ignore the fact that we all have jobs, wifes and personal life.
Arithmetic, if this is such a bad website with no moderation, feel free to either apply and become a mod or simply look for another forum. the entire staff works very hard on this site because we like the site and wants to make it better. posts like yours are a spit on the faces of the staff.

everything seems fine to me. This forum has no more and no less BS than other forums. Actually, I know a couple forums that are a lot worse. I like EvoM. I only had one person attempt to flame me and that was handled quick and easy. I AM shocked at the vedors gettin disabled though. Oh well it happens.

I love this forum and I go here like 5 times a day! i think the mods are doing a great job but very unappreciated(sorry for my spelling, i am only icelandic!). To many members here have absaloutly no respect for the moderators... it is a hard job, specially for those who have lives. what you should do is to find someone who has no life at all and nothing better to do than move threads back and forth all day long!! or just give everyone a warning, that they are one step away from being put to jail or some!

Anyway i dont want to start another flame fest of who said this or who said that, but my point is that we all need to chill and enjoy our little on this forums since is one of the best out there, not as EVO or cars enthusiats but as a community and family of car nuts that we all are.

First off, my comment were meant for evo general, not evolutionm.net as a whole. Second, it's not even remotely to the point that im gonna leave evoM. Third, my comments were not intended to spit in your (or other mods) face and if it came off that way, im truely sorry. Now, I will say you are the only person I see put in any work on evo general, so my comments was not intended for you, but there are other mods of the forum that can help out. I may not own a evo yet, but I do browse the forum and I see alot of post that should not belong there. Even thou ive made comments here and there, they get overlook because there is no evo under "what I drive". There should be some new contenders as mods, with that said, were are these mods?

That's right, including you I see 11mods in evo general and only you are putting in extra work. Why do you have 11mods to one forum to begin with? Especially if only one of them is doing the actually job. Those other mods post once in a blue moon, how can you be a moderator if your not on the forums? Most of those guys just view and log out. I understand you have offline duties and can't be online all the time, my response is... hire new mods. Hire people that are actually gonna be online and that actually will do the job. For example I would look into these guys, because there constantly online and posting in evo general

Anyways, im not trying to spite you, but if you need help... strip some of the current mods and get new ones. I wanted to be mod, but ralliart general already has 2 mods and do a damn fine job. Evo members wouldn't be happy if a ralliart/g35 owner was a mod of the evolution board.

as for your list, not needed because we have fantastic mods that do a great job
the reason why evo general seem so bad comapred to the other sections is because it is the bussiest section of the site and has about x20 the traffic of the other sections. also, a mod doesn't have to post to do a great job. some of us post while the others just do the job and move on...

The mods have been put in a tricky situtation with some of the biggest names in the evo aftermarket industy having gone to war. Recently the situation has gotten out of hand and they disabled the accounts, which will give them time to brainstorm the situation and find an acceptable solution. It is a shame that a few vendors/members can ruin an experience at such a good place to find information and carry out discussions.
