? about EvoM homepage

Why am I not getting the ads on the homepage? I have a laptop w/ a 15" screen and my resolution is at 1280 x 800. XP Media Center. ATI Radeon graphics card.

I'm an Internet Service Tech, so I see a lot of customer's PCs. Whenever I go to this site on their computers, I see the ads. (the one in the top header area and on the left side under the header) Mine is the only computer I have seen that doesn't show the ads.

Which browser are you using? It may be a setting in your browser that is preventing the ads to show up.

Some of the ads that are diplayed are made in flash, so do you have the flash plugin installed? Also you might want to test out other sites that run banner ads to see if you have the same problem outside of evom. Other then possible firewall settings or any ad blocking settings, I'm not sure what could be the problem.

1 more thing

Since the upgrade, all the threads would show only 1 post at a time. But there was a list above the current post where you could select another post within that thread.

Now as of 10 minutes ago, the threads are listed the way they used to be. Multiple posts on 1 page.

I have made no changes in the User CP that would change the way anything is viewed except for categories I want displayed on the homepage.

Ah hah. I turned off ad blocking in Norton and that works now. I never thought of that. Thanks.
