the underlined ads are back...
Almost as annoying as presumptuous, uninformed posts.
Part of being a community based a product is giving a little something back. It seems pretty apparent to me that this is Ali's goal. Just as a reminder, this is a limited campaign of intellitext ads. Think of it as a "thank you" nod to Mitsubishi for manufacturing the product(s) to which the site is dedicated.

Offensive? People complaining about a non-pay site's advertising is what I would call offensive...
Lame
I found my post more offensive than the intellitext personally. And yes, the ads can be bothersome, but, in my opinion, it's a really minor ordeal to suffer through. Again, it's limited time. And, honestly, complaints probably would have been much better put to use had they been posted in the thread where spt asked for input prior to beginning the campaign.
That's not to say input after the fact isn't considered, however I'm pretty sure it's a done deal for this particular issue.
And yes, ads keep the site free. These ads in particular however are not generating revenue. The thread Germy linked to should handily answer most questions regarding the issue. Any new or unanswered questions can be brought up here.

Please keep on topic here. You can address you lack of gratitude for denied warranty claims in one of the dozens of other threads on the issue. Let's stick to unanswered/unaddressed questions related to the intellitext ads in here.
If you're not happy about the ads you probably should of voted:

Seems to me that most of the community wanted the ads to run on the site......

Well I guess I missed that thread about voting.
Obviously my vote would have been for no ads.
I can't understand why members would vote in favor of annoying ad hyperlinks, which have nothing to to with evo's, but hey thats just me.
That's why we have the site feedback section.

As far as missing the thread, I really can't help that. What I can do is tell you that in the future it would be good to check the EvoM Announcements section so you can voice your opinion on certain site matters.
