I honestly stated a difficult situation that involved a number of parites, in a post.
I made no negative comments about anyone.
A vendor got on the thread, and turned it into a negative sounding post/tread, and it was removed.
Who benefits from this? The customer, or the vendor?
This is not a user focused forum... as with many forums, it is a way of generating income, and reacts as such...to protect it's income.
Too Bad.

He posted something. It got taken the wrong way, things got out of hand because of someone else, not the O.P. and the whole thread got deleted... Instead of just posts... At least, as far as he says.
Excuse me for a rare break from being unemotional, but I find this offensive and rude. I explained clearly why your thread was removed and what rule it directly broke. To make the connection that we only care about money is highly offensive, and you should avoid making such rash and poorly thought out conclusions. I do not care if a vendor likes a thread or not. I do care if a thread breaks our rules. Our rules are there both to protect vendor from invalid complaints AND to help members resolve situations.
I even explained to you that if this process fails for you and that you are still unsatisfied with the end result, that you will then be permitted to repost your story/review. I dont know what is so unfair about that. However before you make insulting threads like this one, you may want to think twice or at least discuss your conclusion with us.
Based on your behavior with us in this matter, I am inclined to believe that you may have acted similarly with your communication with the businesses you were talking about. In the future, you may want to try harder to work with people and be understanding of other viewpoints

Now to be fair to the OP, he did and still feels it is not a negative review. And while I feel it is close to a gray area, it has a definite negative impact on 3 separate businesses. Basically he stated that there was a problem leading to an engine failure and insinuates that it was caused possibly by one of two shops and their respective tuners.
Separately from that, he discussed other industry wide problems relating to this issue.
Vendors contact us all the time asking us to remove threads, and unless they directly break a rule, we leave them, like it or not.
I know I'm in it for the money. Money money money!
I'll second Charles' assessment: You threw two vendors under the proverbial bus without giving either a chance to resolve the issue with your seriously blown engine.

I do see, from your logic, how this could hinder the business of two shops.
I don't need your assistance resolving the conflict, as far as I am concerned, the conflict won't be resolved. The issue is that when you malign tuners that used to work for you, you hurt the industry. My other point about how tuners and shops are being 'nickeled and dimed' into a non-productive mode of business is one I discussed with Al, and he agreed whole heartedly. I even agreed to pay Al more money for my tune, because I thought he was restricting his time by limiting the amount of money he could charge.
I assure you that I don't act rashly, and think through my actions. As I said, I can see how you feel that my post could negatively affect the two businesses. I maybe a "newbie" on this forum, but have exisited peacefully on Audi and Porsche forums for years.
BTW: The owner of ICS had this to say about my OP:
Yes and no. - read it briefly on my blaclberry and have just read it from my PC. I am not upset by any means. I do respect and trust your judgement in what you are doing. I know that you are not trying hurt me or my buisness in any way just stating the facts.

I am seeking a resolution outside of the forum. I have discussed the issue with all parties. No one can agree on what the problem is. That means, to me, that the problem won't be resolved. Therefore I have given up seeking a resolution.
It would be nice if someone could take responsibility for damaging a new stroker motor, but I don't think that's going to happen. If you think my post is about "pissing..." you are wrong. My post is an attempt to get these guys to work together better, stop stealing each other employees, and bad mouthing them once they've left. Can you think of a better reason for a post?

It took that time to remove it because we do not see every post that goes up. Often it takes a post being reported before we come across it. Had I seen it earlier and read it, the result would have been the same. As you just said, you can see how it would be taken negatively and therefore, it was removed until the rules could be followed.
You may not act rashly in life, but in this case you did. I always take it as an insult when someone says that we only care about money over members. We have and will always remove any paying vendor that rips off a member without hesitation. Also, half the reason that rule is in place is to HELP the members get a resolution. Simply complaining may not help, but when I get involved, I have a near 100 percent success rate of getting the member what is owed to them

Not exactly. Yes we do need to make money to continue, but never at the expense of our members. We work very hard to ensure this, and if money were all we cared about, we could be making much more doing something else.
Once and for all for everyone to hear it....we do not have bias based on money or paying vendors. If you care to say otherwise, you better be able to back it up very strongly because as you see, I take it personally.
