Most of the other forums I'm on require you post a price and location, and it makes things much easier I think from a buyer's point of view because they can see up front what the seller thinks it's worth. From that point if the buyer doesn't think it's worth the asking price then he can at least make an educated counter offer instead of an incredible low-ball one.
One thing I do like about this site's setup is the iTrader information...most of the other sites I'm on don't have that and have to rely on people vouching for the seller as a stand up and honest person, not the best or most organized method IMO.

Well with my forum, I require you to have a picture. If they changed the prices, then I would cautious......There is something going on in there minds, Just keep in mind what the value really should be, and then go off that when making offers. My forum is really simple, must have a picture, price, and a description. If you dont have a price, then it needs to say make offers.

Edited to remove dumb question. I do hate it when I can't search old sales for fair market price though!

Well, I've been selling parts on here for a good 2 months trying to part out my car, and it's still hard to set prices for things. People can make up all the reasons in the world, but it doesn't help anything.
