EvoM Admin and Certain Mods Are Haters
Blah this is all foolishness. I have not been around this forum long, but I have administered several other forums, and been a mod for even larger forums. There is always a problem like this that comes up, its the nature of "Free" speech. There are certain problems you have to realize Stew, the administrator/owners of this site need to worry about paying the bills. No website will ever appreciate you posting links to a competing site, that is a plain simple fact. (Actually I am really amazed that evolutionm.net will allow you to have a link to a competing site on your signature.) You have obviously known of the problem of posting the links over and over, and man I must admit they have even bugged me. BUT that said, I do agree this site has taken a definite turn away from its original Lancer focus. I am feeling more let down with the very money orientated decisions being made by the administration, but eh it's not my business to run. Stew, you are a assest to the site, but you are also an asset to your site. Don't use someone elses money to promote your own stuff. I am pretty sure you wouldn't like it if someone was on the CalSlam site constantly asking you to post the same post onto evolutionm.net.
Blah, it's all foolishness. Stew good luck with the other site, I am going to go sign up. If you want to advertise your site, do so with money and a contract.

The Nature of Business
Hey Stew, too bad you're leaving...
However, realize that to some degree you built the ejection seat yourself.
This site is a business. Just like I get offers from firms that want to do business with me and I reject the offer, Mark has the right to reject yours.
Professional courtesy to me means, that I will not read a newspaper article, or in this case a forum post, bashing me for my decision. You competed with other vendors for bandwidth and webspace and you lost. That's all.
I hope you will continue to hang around and contribute.

well lets see it this way this is a lancer forum right, stew is offering lancers to unite and go for drives and take trips and arrange dyno days and just make stuff todo for lancer owners. why wouldnt he be allowed to post stuff on this on this site, are yall haters, or just to full of urselfs to let some one offer help in this huge market of lancer owners. so hey lets ruin a man's good efforts hell lets ban him , kikc him from every site and destroy everything that is good in this world , ungrateful .............
I don't know why no one seems to understand this.
Stew is welcome to put a link in his signature and every time he posts he gets to advertise his site. This has been allowed by Mark. The issue is when you have a thread like a techincal thread about engine tuning and he posts a response that simply advertises CAL SLAM or TEAM SLAM.
This is off-topic for the thread and does not contribute to the thread. The rules of use are not very restrictive to the users of this forum and they are there to make the experience for everyone an informative one. Is it so hard to understand that this is spam, and why?
Here is an example and the one I gave him the warning for.

Review the rules of use and you will understand why this does not belong in a technical thread.
