I think you just need to quit *****ing and realize that everything is not going to be tailored to you and your experience. The mods do a great job on this forum making sure every thread is in the right place. I mean damn, how hard is it to just click back if you don't want to read the thread.

I'd think that if people are having enough trouble wading through all the different forums, adding a few more to the mix won't make things any clearer....it'll make this site harder to navigate.

Remember, the Lancer guys were here first. Our Evos are bodystyle varitaions of the Lancer. So there are certain subjects that relate between the 2...and don't need sep forums.

What threads specifically do you have issue with? We have pretty specific rules regarding what/how/ when we move threads.

Seriously, I don't really enjoy swimming through 4000 new Evo posts every day, but I can manage. This site is too useful and fun to complain about something you honestly have no control over.

Mark's not gonna set up a new site, it be a waste of resources. Besides, then you just get people from the lancer board posting on the Evo board and probably vise versa.

The mods do a good job, and since I'm not paying for this site, I'm damned happy with it.

Thanks, guys.

And like Secret Chimp says, if you do have problems with the locations of specific threads, please don't be afraid to let someone know. I (personally) think the forum layout is quite good. I doubt there will be any major reconstruction of the forums any time soon though.

I'd have to go back and look at the threads (this is an example), but in general anything that is moved from an EVO site to a mudied area (i.e. other cars, off-topic, this section, etc.). I just think if you keep anything relating to the EVO in EVO General would be easier, but its not that big of a deal. Its just a suggestion and I really do like this site a lot.

When everybody posts everything remotely related to the Evo in Evo General it becomes VERY difficult to sift through information within that forum. We use our best judgement, but obviously judgement varies from person to person and we're also only human. We do make mistakes. When in question I think we (as a whole) try to put the threads in the most specific forum possible...which is basically also what we request of thread starters as well. This helps keep traffic in all forums (no complaints of "oh, but no one will see it in troubleshooting") and also keeps the general forums from being full of dozens of barely car related threads.

Again, I don't mean to sound argumentative, but without specifics I can only speak generally.
