I would just like to know how come some vendors on here can bash people, other vendors, etc without any consequences? Many a thread on here have been closed, peoples posts deleted, etc. when they have valid points against vendors. On the other hand if these same vendors did the same exact thing nothing ever happens to them

Mark at TT, I know you are stupid but I didn't realize how stupid, that goes for some others. I did NOT accuse Brandon of cheating, learn to read you *****. This was a simple test to show what can be done. I have said 4-5 times already I do not think this is the case with Brandon's car and feel his time is legit. Maybe get your mom to read to you.

Above is an example of what I'm talking about. The topic finaly got closed but did anything happen to the vendor that said the above comment. I doubt it. If I were to say something like this to another member or god forbid a vendor I probaly would get some points, a time out, or even a ban. I'm just sick of certain vendors acting like 2 year olds in situations like this. How come you don't see AMS and other vendors pulling stuff like this? Anyway I know this will probaly get deleted but I just wanted to put it out there to see what some other people think.

I would suppose Evom is a business. So they do what they have to do to protect that business.

Not everything gets seen by the moderators, as we don't read every thread/post. If you see something, such as your example, that you think needs attention, use the report post button so we know to come in and take a look.

 

And how can you possibly know what enforcement action we take against vendors? Answer: You don't. We do not discuss enforcement action against people, so you have no way of knowing what we did or did not do; you're assuming. And you're completely wrong. I hold vendors to the letter of the law here, as do the rest of the staff. If you got a 5 point infraction, I would not discuss it in the forums. The same applies to Vendors.

In addition, the Moderators cannot be everywhere all the time. We rely on members reporting bad and/or confrontational posts. All too often, I stumble across fighting threads and see everybody here cheering on their side while bashing the other; all as if it was a game or a soap opera. I see every reported post on EvoM, and I will tell you that less than 5% of them are about a Vendors bad conduct.

If you have a specific issue or example, I'd be happy to look into it. I hope this answers your concerns.

Since you are so concerned about me, yes I actually did receive my penalty from the big man himself Ali for that comment.

Why not go grab the one your hero Mark at TT wrote to me about a redneck flannel shirt wearing something or another? How about the others in that same thread?

You can't pick and chose who can and can't do it and just use my post for an example.

You may notice I argue the most, not to hard to figure that one out. I also contribute far more than any other vendor on these forums in the form of tech, dyno results etc. I have many more positive helpful posts than I do arguements.

For me this is more than a job, it's a passion. If you don't really care about anything but the profits and your job is just your job I can imagine not getting fired up like I do is pretty easy.

 

I was threatened with violence from David had watched the thread get deleted and nothing happen to him. If a non vendor did this they would be banned for life. There is an extreme double standard.

 

I recently got this in my pm box here at EvoM.

See, to me this is just a sign of an unbalanced mind and a sadly rude person. To call it passion is one thing but to send threats and insults and not be held accountable is another.

I do hope that things such as this do not go un-noticed by the mods and by the public. In the end the person you support reflects upon you.

 

06rs, that is not a threat of violence. That is an invitation to come down to our shop since you are close by and speak to me face-to-face. You spend a lot of time following me around in threads making nasty comments. I have no idea who you are or why you do it. I sent you a PM to come and visit me so we could figure out what the problem was. There is no threat of violence there, that was sent in a PM, thanks for posting it though.
