You have 5 posts. Clearly, you have not read the rules.

Just an idea, but a forum that I used to be an Admin for had Premium memberships available. Gold and Platinum were the levels. Platinum members were allowed to post in Classifieds with no post count restriction.

The thinking was that anyone willing to spend the $25/yr to become Platinum was probably going to contribute or at the least wasn't too much threat as a scammer. It seemed to work pretty well for them.

i was in the same boat as a few of you guys up until recently. 6year member, but 99% of my posts were in the regional section so i could never post in the f/s section.

While i believe there could be some exceptions or an amendment to the rules (who makes an account, lets it sit 5 years, to come back and scam someone out of $100). But in the end i just sucked it up, and bought via PM.

If you are wanting to sell, well odds are any sensible person won't be buying from you even if you are barely making both minimum requirements anyway.

... the hindrance is there to protect members from fly-by-night sellers, scammers and spammers.
Fly-by-night buyers??
