Can I Be The Mod For My Own Posts?

When I post a new thread, can I be the moderator for my own post's?

You mean your own thread? I don't think that'd be a good idea to give the thread starter ultimate control over what anyone posts in that thread.

i agree to a point...

i would say beginners should not be aloud to do this. but a person who has been on the site for a long time and has developed a good reputation should be able to do this. it should be aloud for the members who will delete posts sending there threads off topic or causing fights in there threads.

yes my own thread.

there are so many threads i started and I noticed that most of the time people just post nonsense responses, also if I'm my own moderator for only my threads it will free up your time.

I am asking this question for everyone here that starts a thread, not just my threads.

what do you say, if you have mini moderators?

I think its a good idea

i for one would love this feature. i can clean up many of my threads and remove a lot of useless posts.

and maybe monitor there actions for future modding privileges as this site needs more mods. imho.

See the little white triangle with the red outline and the black line in the middle? That's how you can be your own threads' moderator. It's not a bad idea, but it isn't great either.

IMO, horrible idea. Even when users were only allowed to delete their own posts we ran into problems. If you would like something moderated, report the post and request it.

This is the first time I've agreed with Hobie EVER!!

I can see this forum burning faster than a nitro-methane powered car crashing if this was allowed.

+1 Bad idea. It would be a good way to start a whole lot more bickering and why did xxx delete my post in his thread, he's a d!ck...
Let the mods do what they do and report a post when you feel it to be deserved.

what about only allowing this feature to people who deserve it.
