Comment on the general forums attitude from a non Evo owner.
My point wasnt wether or not you wanted a DSM or not....
It was that the DSM community has been around a lot longer than the evo community here in the states and the reputable vendors that have proved them selves in the DSM community (and are now wokring with the evo) should be the ones that you work with; until the new vendors, which have not been in the community for very long prove themselves reliable and reputable.
In addition the DSM guys have alot to offer the evo community. whether you feel that way or not is up to you.

it's all in the nature of the import tuning community. You're bound to run into cry babies, morons, and domestic car owners (not in that general order). We learn to live with it, ignore it and move on. Take it with a grain of salt or rice for that matter. Trust me, being head of a club I hear and see everything imaginable. Preach on brother!

There is absolutely nothing hit or miss about tuning a 16G powered 4g63. You can put it in any car you choose. Its the same motor. The DSM community was where you are today 10 years ago.
The only difference is now you have venders that do not reside in the DSM community as green as you are. Trying to figure out how to do what has already been done a million time. Its like watching you struggle through a final exam while I have the answers in front of me.
example
Al's car, fastest race gas evo tuned by DSM shop
David Buschurs EVO, fastest pump gas EVO built obviously by him.
Performance is a direct result of experience. Those that have experience have huge numbers on the board. Those who do not rely on opinions not fact.
it all depends on who you go through, ive only gone through a few different vendors and had excellent service, if i get no response ij ust dont do business with them its that easy, i dont ***** about it, i dont see that much complaining though, maybe ijust dont read the vendor columns much, but whatever, ig uess some people are impatient
